Case Study

TV Streaming News

News/Blog Website Build

When Leon Thomas approached me on Upwork, he was looking to step out of the eCommerce world and follow-up on his New Year’s resolution and start his own blog. Leon wanted to share his wide knowledge in the streaming industry, and I was more than happy to help.

TV Streaming News was to be a modern blog site that would share the latest information on how to watch your favourite shows from the comfort of your own home – without the stress! On TV Streaming News you would learn about the best streaming websites for movies, sports and TV, as well as how to save money in the process.

Leon needed a design that was simple in functionality, and modern in design. He hadn’t really considered any of the branding aspects for his website, and as such I was more than happy to lend my opinion on what I would like to see not just as a web designer, but as a customer too. Following my advice, we went with a light green colour scheme which resembled the digital tone of the website’s content.

“I enjoyed working with Michael. He is a skilled WordPress freelancer. The quality of the finished product was outstanding. Despite the time difference, his communication was outstanding. He met all my deadlines and delivered the job before deadline. Michael even provided additional help after job completion. I will have future projects and will definitely use him again. Highly recommend!”

You can listen to Leon’s pleasant review of the service he received in the video below.

Like many of my clients when we discuss a new project, Leon initially had a lot of questions for me, most notably as he was a bit unsure as to how he would be able to create blog posts on his new website. To put Leon at ease we arranged for a live call where I could give him a step-by-step guide on how to create & publish a new blog post with ease.

Conclusion

Overall it was an absolute pleasure working with Leon, and there’s already been discussions about adding to his website as he builds his business. I’m eager to see what the future holds with TV Streaming News and am glad that I could be a part of it.
